Balafon

Aboubacar comes from a long line of Sousou balafon players and began his study of the instrument at the age of ten. He is an expert balafon craftsman, handcrafting his balafons using traditional techniques and materials.

Djembe

As a Master Drummer with over twenty years of experience, Aboubacar plays, builds and repairs djembes and doundouns.
